Z-type steel wire

Z-type steel wire is an integral part of sealed steel wire rope. Except for the central circle steel wire layer, the outer layer or several layers of sealed steel wire rope are made of Z-type steel wire. Sealed steel wire rope is used in passenger ropeway, freight ropeway, cable crane, large roof suspension structure, bridge, mine hoisting, etc.

The characteristics of sealed steel wire rope are as follows

1. The section coefficient of metal is large and the bearing capacity is large. The section coefficient can reach 0.8-0.9, ranking first among all kinds of steel wire ropes. Under the same rope diameter and strength, the total breaking force is about 60% larger than that of round strand steel wire rope, and about 35% larger than that of triangular strand steel wire rope.

2. The outer surface is smooth and flat, with large contact area, small friction coefficient, wear resistance and good fatigue resistance.

3. It has high compressive capacity, stable structure of steel wire rope, and is not easy to be damaged when bearing radial load.

4. The special-shaped steel wires are tightly locked, broken in use, hard to jump out of the steel wires, hard to enter the interior of external corrosive media, good waterproof, moisture-proof and rust proof performance, long service life.
